Says 360, 460, 560 or X-Terra: the \u003ca href=\"\/products\/minelab-v8x-search-coil-3011-0457\"\u003eV8X\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhy the V8 on a Vanquish 340, 440 or 540\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA Double-D coil separates targets along its narrow center line, and an 8 x 5 in (20 x 13 cm) DD puts that line into gaps a 10 or 12 in (25 or 30 cm) coil cannot enter: between iron nails under an old porch, between the rebar in a schoolyard, around tree roots and fence lines. You give up depth on open ground and get back every shallow coin and ring that was masked by the junk beside it. It is also the coil that fits a Vanquish into a backpack and gets a kid swinging without fatigue. The coil is waterproof to 3.3 ft (1 m); the Vanquish control box is rain resistant only, so this is a wade-and-swing coil, not a dive coil.
