Garrett ATX Deepseeker Package - pulse induction with both coils, hard case, and accessories

At a glance

The Garrett ATX Deepseeker Package pairs Garrett's military-grade pulse induction detector with TWO coils: the 10x12 in open Double-D and the 15x20 in Deepseeker mono for maximum depth. Waterproof to 10 ft (3 m), with hard case, MS-2 headphones, sling, and both alkaline and rechargeable AA sets. Garrett has discontinued the ATX; available new via drop-ship while stock lasts. 2 year warranty.

Discontinued, and Worth Chasing

Garrett has discontinued the ATX per the 2026 price guide, and most dealers now show it out of stock or special-order only. History Seekers still fulfills new units through Garrett's authorized drop-ship program while remaining stock lasts, with the full 2 year warranty. If the ATX has been on your list, this is the window.

One Machine for Ground That Beats Everything Else

The ATX runs Garrett pulse induction, the technology of choice for mineralized ground and saltwater, where VLF detectors lose depth and stability. It detects across all target sizes at once: no switching modes to favor small gold at the expense of larger, deeper targets. Ground Tracking follows changing mineralization automatically, Non-Motion Mode holds a signal while you pinpoint, and Frequency Scan shifts around electrical interference.

The build is genuinely military-grade: the ATX is based on the Garrett Recon-Pro AML-1000 military platform, folds compact for transport, and is waterproof to 10 ft (3 m) for surf lines, rivers, and rain that ends other hunts.

Why the Deepseeker Package

Two coils cover both jobs. The 10x12 in open Double-D is the everyday coil: lighter sweep, sharp separation, strong on mid-size targets. The 15x20 in Deepseeker mono is the reason this package exists: maximum detection field for deep caches, large relics, and big gold that sits below smaller coils' reach. Both ship with covers, in a military-grade hard case that protects the whole kit in transit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Garrett ATX discontinued?

Yes, per Garrett's 2026 price guide. We fulfill new units through Garrett's authorized drop-ship program while remaining stock lasts, with the full 2 year warranty.

Is the ATX waterproof?

Yes, to 10 ft (3 m). The included MS-2 headphones are for land use; Garrett waterproof headphones are sold separately for submerged hunting.

What is the ATX best for?

Deep relics, caches, and gold in mineralized ground and saltwater, where pulse induction holds depth that VLF machines lose. It is a specialist for hard conditions, not a lightweight park machine.

Which coil should I run?

The 10x12 in DD for everyday hunting and better separation; the 15x20 in Deepseeker mono when maximum depth on large targets is the goal. Both are in the box.
