Waterproof or land?
Waterproof: Submersible pointers like the Garrett Pro-Pointer AT handle creeks, beaches, wet sand and rain, and rinse clean under a tap. Choose waterproof if there is any chance you will hunt wet ground - most people should.
Land: Water-resistant pointers handle dirt and light moisture at a lower price, fine for dry sites and yards.
