Garrett Metal Detectors
Garrett metal detectors are built in Garland, Texas, and carry one of the strongest reputations in the hobby: tough machines that hold their value and keep finding targets after years of hard use. History Seekers is an authorized Garrett dealer, so every Garrett detector on this page is new and carries the full Garrett factory warranty. We stock the modern Garrett detector line, we swing this gear on our own hunts, and when you call we will point you to the right machine for your ground, not the most expensive one in the lineup.
Choosing a Garrett detector, by the way you hunt
Starting out. The ACE 300 and ACE 400 are simple, proven first detectors that thousands of hunters learned on. The newer Vortex VX5 is Garrett's current entry point and a real step forward: multi-frequency, fully waterproof, and ready for parks, fields, and the beach on day one.
Coins and relics in serious ground. The Garrett AT Pro metal detector is the all-terrain workhorse this brand is famous for, and the AT Max adds more depth and built-in Z-Lynk wireless audio. At the top of the modern line, the Vortex VX9 brings Garrett's latest multi-frequency platform to hunters who want maximum capability in one machine.
Gold country. The Goldmaster 24K is a dedicated high-frequency nugget machine, and the Axiom is Garrett's pulse induction flagship for small gold in the worst mineralized ground, with the ATX serving expedition hunters who need a fully submersible military-grade PI.
On every hunt. A Pro-Pointer AT pinpointer cuts recovery time in half on almost any machine, and we carry Garrett's Z-Lynk wireless headphones, submersible headphones, coils, and accessories to match each detector.
Military service. Garrett runs a military discount program on its detectors. Contact us directly to use it; our military discount page explains how the program works and which Garrett detectors are eligible.
Not sure where to start? Call 256-284-2247. Everyone at History Seekers detects, top down, and matching a Garrett to where and how you actually hunt takes a few minutes of honest conversation. However you get into the field, the story is more important than the artifact.
