Choosing a Fisher, by the way you hunt
Starting out. The F11 is the honest first machine: turn-on-and-go with a real 1-99 Target ID. The F22, successor to the long-serving F2, adds full weatherproofing and iron audio, and the F44 tops the weatherproof family with ground balancing for tough soil. All three share one coil ecosystem, so accessory coils survive your upgrades.
Relics and serious ground. The F75 is the famous one: 13 kHz, legendary balance, and DST shielding for noisy sites, with the F75+ and F75 LTD adding deeper Boost and Cache processing on the same platform.
Gold country. The Gold Bug at 19 kHz is the classic entry nugget machine, and the Gold Bug 2 at 71 kHz remains one of the hottest small-gold detectors ever made.
