The History Seekers are coin and relic hunters who actually use the metal detectors we sell. This is not a catalog operation run by people who have never swung a coil. Our team finds jewelry, coins, gold, and relics in the field, and that hands-on experience is what you get when you buy from us.
We are an authorized dealer for the brands that matter, Minelab, Garrett, XP, Fisher, Teknetics, Nokta, Bounty Hunter, Coiltek, and CKG, along with the Gold Cube fine gold recovery system. Founded by a Lifelong Relic Hunter
History Seekers was founded by well-known relic hunter Heath Jones, who began metal detecting in the very early 1990s. After a career in law enforcement, Heath spent nearly nine years managing a well-known metal detecting retailer, working closely with all the major manufacturers and even testing prototype detectors before they reached the public. That is a depth of product knowledge very few dealers can offer.
In 2019, Heath founded the History Seekers YouTube and Facebook channels to share the hunt with a wider community. Today he owns and operates History Seekers Metal Detectors, carrying detectors, search coils, pinpointers, and gold recovery equipment from every major brand, for everyone from first-timers to seasoned professionals.

Just Beyond the Grave, Our Ground Penetrating Radar Channel
Launched in June 2026, Just Beyond the Grave is our ground penetrating radar (GPR) channel, and its mission is the opposite of treasure hunting. This work is about finding, marking, and protecting graves, restoring dignity and history to people whose resting places were lost or forgotten.
To be absolutely clear: we do not metal detect in graveyards or cemeteries, and we never dig in them. Our grave-related work uses ground penetrating radar only. GPR is a non-invasive technology that sees beneath the surface without disturbing the ground, the soil, or anyone resting in it. Nothing is excavated. Nothing is removed. The goal is documentation and preservation, helping to accurately locate and mark unmarked burials so they can be protected, respected, and remembered.
Through this work we have helped locate and document three historical mass grave sites, along with other historic graves and individuals lost to time.
