Bounty Hunter Guardian: Professional Screening Without the Professional Invoice

Security wands live a hard life: hundreds of scans a shift, doorframes and phones throwing interference, and environments where a beeping alert is sometimes exactly wrong. The Guardian was built around those realities by First Texas Products, and it costs a fraction of the imported units big security suppliers push.

Why the Guardian

It alerts three ways, audible tone, silent vibration for discreet screening, and a red detection LED, so the operator chooses what the situation allows. Operating at 7.1 kHz with three selectable frequencies, it can step away from electromagnetic interference from nearby electronics and other wands, which is what keeps screening lanes moving without false alarms. The Momentary Low Detection switch lets an operator momentarily dial sensitivity down to differentiate a large object from keys and buttons without a second pass. Status is idiot-proof: green LED for power, yellow for low battery, red for detection. A cushioned grip and wrist strap handle shift-long use, the battery compartment quick-changes a standard 9V, and the whole wand is light enough for hours of screening. Schools, venues, courthouses, corrections, private events: this is the honest-price American option. Designed and made in El Paso, Texas.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Guardian for treasure hunting?

No. It is a security screening wand for detecting metal on a person. For hobby detecting, see our ground-search detectors; for target recovery in a dug hole, see our pinpointers.

Can it alert silently?

Yes. Vibration mode alerts only the operator, for discreet screening situations.

What are the 3 frequencies for?

Stepping away from electromagnetic interference from nearby electronics or other wands, so multiple screening lanes can run side by side without false alarms.

What does the Momentary Low switch do?

It temporarily reduces sensitivity so the operator can distinguish a large metal object from pocket clutter like keys and coins without rescanning.

What battery does it use?

One standard 9V, with a yellow low-battery LED and a quick-change compartment.
