Description
The CKG Pro 11x9 is the flagship of the CKG stainless line: the biggest basket CKG builds in steel, for hunters who dig every target on a busy beach. When the wet sand is heavy and the targets are a foot down, a small scoop means two or three extra dips per hole. The Pro's oversized basket takes the whole plug in one bite, the hexagon mesh drains it in seconds, and your ring, coin, or relic is sitting on steel instead of washing back into the hole.
At a glance
The CKG Pro 11x9 is a stainless steel sand scoop for metal detecting with hexagon sifting holes across the basket, back, and top plate. Manufacturer-listed dimensions are 9.98 x 11 x 5 in (25.3 x 28 x 12.7 cm) and the weight is 2.38 lb (1.08 kg). The reinforced handle socket locks to a pole with a bolt. Works with any metal detector.
Why the Pro over its siblings
Capacity. The 11x7 is the heavy-wall workhorse and the 9x6 is the compact traveler, but neither moves sand like the Pro's wide mouth. Dealers who carry this model tend to list it with a title and a sentence; the specifications below are the ones the manufacturer actually publishes, so you know exactly what arrives. If you hunt towel lines, cut banks after a storm, or wet slope at low tide, this is the one that keeps your dig count per target lowest.

Frequently asked questions
Does the CKG Pro 11x9 come with a handle or pole?
No. This listing is the stainless steel scoop head only. It has a bolted handle socket with brace bars and accepts standard scoop poles, including CKG carbon fiber and travel handles, sold separately.
Will the CKG Pro 11x9 work with my metal detector?
Yes. A sand scoop is a recovery tool, not an electronic accessory. It works alongside any metal detector brand and any pinpointer.
How do I care for this scoop after salt water use?
Rinse it with fresh water after saltwater sessions and let it dry. The stainless steel body is built for beach and surf use and needs no other routine care.
Will rings and coins fall through the sifting holes?
Objects smaller than a hole can pass through any sifting scoop. Typical rings and US coins are retained by this basket while dry and wet sand drain out.
