Description
Coiltek 22" Goldstalker DD Search Coil for Minelab SD, GP and GPX
At a glance: The Coiltek 22" Goldstalker DD is a 22 in / 560 mm round Double-D search coil for the classic Minelab pulse-induction golds: the SD series, the GP series, and the classic GPX (4000, 4500, 4800, 5000). It is the deep cache coil with a DD advantage: maximum depth and coverage, plus GPX Iron Discrimination and better stability in noisy ground. Reaches as deep as 7 ft on a GPX. 1300 g / 38.8 oz, skid plate attached, 2-year Coiltek warranty. Not compatible with the GPX 6000.
Maximum depth, but on ground that fights back. The 22" Goldstalker DD reaches the deep gold and caches while rejecting the EMI, ground noise, and iron that stop a mono coil.
The Coiltek 22" Goldstalker DD is the big cache coil built for hostile ground. At 22 in / 560 mm it is the serious prospector's coil for maximum depth and coverage, known worldwide as the cache coil, with users recovering ancient artefacts at great depths, some as deep as 7 feet on a GPX, and it shines on open gold fields for path finding and deep nugget hunting. What sets this DD version apart is composure: its Double-D winding rejects EMI and ground noise better than a mono, and it unlocks the Iron Discrimination function on GPX detectors, so you can chase deep targets through mineralized, noisy, or trashy ground without the coil going haywire.
Why the 22" DD instead of the 22" Mono
Both 22" Goldstalkers reach the same extreme depth. The difference is the ground. The 22" Mono runs the hottest and deepest in clean, quiet ground and is the pick when raw depth and small-gold sensitivity are everything. The 22" DD trades a hair of that raw punch for real stability: EMI and ground-noise rejection, and the GPX Iron Discrimination function that lets you skip iron trash at depth. Choose the DD for noisy, mineralized, or trashier ground, or when you want iron disc on a coil this big. The 14" DD remains the versatile everyday coil; the 22" DD is the specialist for deep targets on difficult ground.
Coiltek builds it to last, with a skid plate attached from the factory and a 2-year warranty. Fitment matters, so be exact: it fits the Minelab SD and GP series and the classic GPX (4000, 4500, 4800, 5000). It does not fit the GPX 6000, which uses a different coil system.
