Description
Coiltek 22" Goldstalker Mono Search Coil for Minelab SD, GP and GPX
At a glance: The Coiltek 22" Goldstalker Mono is a 22 in / 560 mm round mono search coil for the classic Minelab pulse-induction golds: the SD series, the GP series, and the classic GPX (4000, 4500, 4800, 5000). It is the deep one: the serious prospector's coil for maximum depth and coverage, known worldwide as the cache coil, reaching targets as deep as 7 ft on a GPX. 1300 g / 38.8 oz, skid plate attached, 2-year Coiltek warranty. Not compatible with the GPX 6000.
Some gold and some caches sit deeper than any normal coil will ever reach. This is the coil that goes after them.
The Coiltek 22" Goldstalker Mono is built for one thing: maximum depth. At 22 in / 560 mm it is the serious prospector's coil of choice for reaching the gold and the deep caches that smaller coils swing right over. It has earned a worldwide reputation as the cache coil, with users recovering ancient artefacts at great depths, some as deep as 7 feet when run on a GPX. On open ground and worked-over gold fields it is outstanding for path finding, covering acres fast, and hunting the deep nuggets that are still down there once the shallow gold is gone.
Why the 22" Mono
The Goldstalker line ends here, at the deepest reach. The 14" DD is the versatile everyday coil; the 22" comes in two forms, and this is the Mono. A mono loop runs the hottest and deepest of any configuration, with the strongest response to gold at extreme depth in clean, low-EMI ground. Choose the Mono when raw depth and small-gold sensitivity matter most and the ground is quiet. If you hunt noisy or heavily mineralized ground, or you want to use the GPX Iron Discrimination function at depth, the 22" DD is the version for you. Either way, a coil this size is a purpose-built tool for open country and deep targets, not for tight or trashy spots.
Mono is the point. On the classic SD, GP and GPX platform a mono loop concentrates the detector's pulse into the deepest, hottest footprint Coiltek makes. It is built to last, with a skid plate attached from the factory and a 2-year warranty. Fitment matters, so be exact: it fits the Minelab SD and GP series and the classic GPX (4000, 4500, 4800, 5000). It does not fit the GPX 6000, which uses a different coil system.
