The SDC 2300 is a brilliant little gold machine, but it ships with one fixed coil. This is the part that unlocks the rest.
Out of the box, the Minelab SDC 2300 comes with its stock coil and a short folding shaft, and there is no obvious way to put a bigger, more sensitive, or deeper aftermarket coil on it. The Coiltek Gold Extreme Accessories Pack solves that. It is the adapter that mounts Coiltek's Gold Extreme coils to the SDC 2300: a high-quality injection-moulded shaft attachment, a clamp, and a cover, everything you need to make the connection solid and reliable in the field.
Why you need it (and only once)
To run any Coiltek Gold Extreme coil, the 10x5" for small gold in tight ground, the 11" round for depth and coverage, or the 14x9" elliptical for the best ground coverage in the series, you first need this pack on your SDC 2300. The good news is that it is a one-time purchase: fit the shaft attachment once, and from then on you can change between Gold Extreme coils as the ground demands, without buying another adapter. If you are new to Gold Extreme coils on the SDC 2300, buy the pack together with your first coil. If you already have the pack fitted, you only need the coil.
It is built to Coiltek's usual standard, injection-moulded rather than a flimsy bracket, so it holds the coil steady through a full day of swinging and survives the knocks that gold country hands out. It fits the Minelab SDC 2300 only, and it works with every coil in the Coiltek Gold Extreme series.
