What Super-D means on your threshold
Super-D is Minelab's GPZ-specific winding: a central transmit coil flanked by two receive windings. The practical result is smooth, quiet running over mineralized goldfield ground and a precise response directly under the center line of the coil, so pinpointing deep targets stays honest even at size. A conventional Double-D this large would give up stability; the Super-D keeps the GPZ 7000 running the way it does with the standard coil, with more ground covered per swing. One competitor listing calls this coil a Double-D; it is not, and the difference is the point.

Does the GPZ 14 fit the GPZ 8000? No. Minelab states the GPZ 8000 coils are a separate range that is not compatible with the GPZ 7000, and the reverse holds: GPZ 7000 coils do not fit the GPZ 8000.
