Description
Running a Kruzer, Anfibio, Simplex+, Impact, or one of Nokta's gold and deep-seeking machines and tired of the cable snagging every bush between you and the target? The Nokta 2.4GHz Wireless Headphones Green Edition are the factory wireless answer for that generation of detectors. They run Nokta's own 2.4 GHz radio link, not Bluetooth, with selectable channels to dodge interference and a battery that runs longer than your longest day: 14 to 20 hours per charge by Nokta's specification.
At a glance
The Nokta 2.4GHz Wireless Headphones Green Edition (part 17000209) are over-ear wireless metal detector headphones on Nokta's 2.4 GHz link. Battery life 14-20 hours, charge time about 3 hours, range 10 m (33 ft), mono audio. Nokta's compatibility spans Kruzer, Gold Kruzer, Anfibio, Simplex+, Impact, Invenio, Gold Finder 2000, Racer 2, Gold Racer, TMD-101, and PulseDive.
Why the Green Edition, and exactly which machines it serves
Compatibility on this headphone is the most-confused fact in Nokta's audio line, so here it is straight from the manufacturer's two documents. Nokta's current accessory page lists the Invenio, Impact, Gold Finder 2000, and Gold Kruzer. The Green Edition manual (doc 55000522) adds step-by-step pairing for the Simplex+, Anfibio, Kruzer, Racer 2 (system boxes above serial 9402, earlier units via dongle), Gold Racer (above serial 6916), TMD-101, and PulseDive. What is on neither list: The Legend, Legend 2, Score series, and Simplex ULTRA and LITE - those are Bluetooth machines, and their wireless match is the BT Low Latency Headphones. Some dealer listings blur that line; check your model against the lists above and you cannot buy wrong. For underwater work on any machine, the wired Waterproof Headphones are the tool.
Technical specs and what they do in the field
| Nokta 2.4 GHz radio link (not Bluetooth) | Dedicated detector protocol; pairs once, reconnects automatically every hunt after |
| Selectable channels | Hunting next to another detectorist? Change the channel and the interference is gone |
| 14-20 hour battery life, ~3 hour charge | Multi-day hunting weekends on one Li-Po charge; charges from a 5 V 1 A USB adapter |
| Power-on battery report | Five beeps means full, one means low; you know before you walk out |
| 10 m (33 ft) transmission range | Lay the machine down to dig and keep the audio |
| Padded over-ear cups, mono output | Blocks field noise; detector tones are mono at the source, nothing is lost |
One setup tip straight from the manual: keep the side with the blue LED on the same side as your detector for the strongest link.
