Description

When the surface finds are gone on the F19, depth is the whole game, and coil size is depth. The 11 inch Double-D is the F19's deep coil: more ground and more reach under every swing, with a Double-D winding that stays quiet in the mineralized soil that makes smaller coils false.

At a glance: This is the genuine Fisher 11 in / 28 cm Double-D search coil with the First Texas screw-in connector, for the F19. It is the deep-and-coverage coil: wide ground coverage per sweep and strong depth on coins and relics, with a Double-D winding that runs quiet on hot, mineralized soil.

Genuine First Texas, in stock

This is the genuine First Texas Fisher part 11COIL-F19, not an aftermarket copy, and we stock it. It is the 11 in / 28 cm Double-D search coil for the machines listed below. New to coils? Our Search Coil Buying Guide covers size and Double-D versus concentric before you choose.

Which detectors does it fit?

This coil uses the First Texas screw-in connector that the Fisher F-series and the Gold Bug, Gold Bug Pro and Gold Bug DP share. It does not fit the Gold Bug 2, which has its own dedicated connector, or the plug-in Teknetics EuroTek and Digitek. This coil is compatible with: Fisher F19.

Why the 11 in Double-D coil

When you want the deep coin, the plow-zone relic or the target below the stock coil's reach, coil size translates directly to depth, and the 11 inch is the F19's deep option. Its Double-D winding overlaps two D-shaped coils to reject ground mineralization and electrical interference, so it runs smooth where a concentric coil would chatter, and you cover more ground per sweep. The cost is a little weight and less separation in heavy trash, which is exactly when you would switch to the 5 inch.

Frequently asked questions

Will this coil fit my detector? This coil uses the First Texas screw-in connector that the Fisher F-series and the Gold Bug, Gold Bug Pro and Gold Bug DP share. It does not fit the Gold Bug 2, which has its own dedicated connector, or the plug-in Teknetics EuroTek and Digitek.

How is this size different from the others? The 11 inch Double-D is the F19's deep-and-coverage coil, and its DD winding handles mineralized ground well. Use the 5 inch for trash and tight spaces.

Can this coil help me find gold? The F19 finds gold jewelry and works general ground well, but it is not a dedicated nugget machine. For gold prospecting, Fisher's Gold Bug (19 kHz) and Gold Bug 2 (71 kHz) are the specialist detectors.

Is it waterproof? First Texas search coils are submersible; keep the control housing dry. For a verified depth rating on your exact machine, call us and we will confirm before you hunt water.

History Seekers is a small American business and an authorized First Texas dealer (Fisher, Teknetics and Bounty Hunter are one El Paso company). Everyone here detects, top down, for coins, relics, jewelry and gold, and prior field experience is a hiring requirement, not a coincidence. The person who answers your fitment question may be the one who packs the coil and drives it to the UPS drop. The story is more important than the artifact.
