The short answer: the Fisher F19, Gold Bug, and Gold Bug Pro run on the First Texas screw-in Double-D coil family, and eight accessory coils fit, from 5 in / 13 cm to 12 in / 30 cm. Audio is wired through Fisher's own stereo headphones, and the F-Pulse and Tek-Point are the pulse-induction pinpointers for the mineralized ground these machines are built for. Everything on this page fits the F19, Gold Bug, and Gold Bug Pro, every link is a product we stock, and if you are unsure, call 256-284-2247 and ask.

The one mistake to avoid: the Gold Bug 2 is a different machine. Its 6.5 in, 10 in, and 14 in elliptical coils do not fit the Gold Bug or Gold Bug Pro, and the screw-in Double-D coils on this page do not fit the Gold Bug 2. The Gold Bug Tracker is different again, a separate entry-level design with its own coil. Read the model name on the coil listing, not the family name.

Every coil below names these machines in its own fitment. Two are F19-specific parts; the rest are shared across the Gold Bug family and, in several cases, the F11, F22, and F44.

Pinpointers

  • Fisher F-Pulse: pulse induction that stays quiet in black sand and mineralized soil.
  • Teknetics Tek-Point: the same stability, with a frequency shift so it does not squeal next to your coil.

Digging and recovery

Don't own the machine yet?

The Fisher F19 is the relic and coin machine on this coil system, the Fisher Gold Bug with 5 in / 13 cm coil is the gold entry point, and the Fisher Gold Bug Pro is the full-control version. Fisher's Gold Bug 2 has its own fitment page, and so do the F11, F22, and F44 and the F75 and F70.
