Which detectors does it fit?
This coil uses the First Texas screw-in connector that the Fisher F-series and the Gold Bug, Gold Bug Pro and Gold Bug DP share. It does not fit the Gold Bug 2, which has its own dedicated connector, or the plug-in Teknetics EuroTek and Digitek. This coil is compatible with: Fisher F19.
Why the 5 in Double-D coil
A small Double-D concentrates its field into a tight footprint, which is what the F19's toughest sites demand: iron-infested homesites, old foundations and dense-trash parks. Where the stock coil reads a good coin and a rusty nail as one signal, the 5 inch resolves them as two, so you dig the keeper and leave the trash. It reaches tight places along fence lines and into foundation corners, and its Double-D winding rejects ground mineralization better than a concentric coil. The trade-off is coverage and depth on open ground, where a larger F19 coil takes over.
