Description
Fisher F75+: The F75 Everybody Respects, With the Switches Flipped
The F75 earned its reputation the slow way: years of relic hunters pulling deep iron-masked targets out of sites everyone else called hunted out. The F75+ is that same machine with Fisher's performance package turned on from the factory: boost process mode that measurably extends depth in most conditions, and DST digital shielding that keeps the machine quiet near power lines and in the EMI soup that kills sensitive detectors on modern permissions.
Why the F75+, and where it sits in the family
We stock the whole F75 family, so unlike single-listing dealers we can give you the honest ladder. The standard F75 ($419 class) is the proven platform. The F75+ adds boost mode and DST for a small step up, the sweet spot for most serious buyers. The F75 Special Edition LTD adds its own package and black livery at the top. Same bones on all three: one of the lightest, best-balanced serious detectors ever built, a large information-dense display, and target separation in iron that still embarrasses newer machines.
What the F75+ gives you in the field: 0 to 99 numeric target ID with the resolution to call a deep wheat cent against a nail bed, FASTGRAB computerized ground balance for hot ground, Fe-Tone adjustable iron audio, both motion and static all-metal modes, and a trigger pinpoint under your finger. The waterproof 11 in (28 cm) Bi-Axial DD coil wades creeks, and the whole machine runs on four AA batteries you can buy anywhere. The platform also enjoys one of the deepest aftermarket coil ecosystems in detecting, from compact separation coils to big deep-field designs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the F75+ add over the standard F75?
Two factory enhancements: boost process mode, which increases detection depth in most conditions, and DST digital shielding technology, which suppresses electrical interference near power lines and urban sites.
What is DST and why does it matter?
Digital Shielding Technology is Fisher's EMI suppression system. High-gain detectors are naturally noisy around electricity; DST lets the F75+ run hot where other machines must be turned down, which is where depth actually comes from.
Is the Fisher F75+ good for relic hunting?
It is one of the reference machines for iron-infested relic sites: fast recovery, strong target separation, and iron audio tools built for exactly that ground.
Is the F75+ waterproof?
The 11 in (28 cm) Bi-Axial DD coil is waterproof for creek and shallow-water edges; the control housing is not submersible.
What batteries does it use?
Four AA batteries, with the F75 platform's famously long runtimes. Confirmed figures ship in the manual.
F75+ or F75 Special Edition LTD?
The LTD is the top trim with its own feature package and black finish. If boost and DST are what you want, the F75+ delivers them for less; if you want the flagship, the LTD is on our shelf too.
