The short answer: the Fisher F75, F75+, F75 Special Edition LTD, and F70 share one coil family, six accessory coils from 5 in / 13 cm to 12 in / 30 cm, and Fisher's own wired stereo headphones. Everything on this page fits the F75 and F70, every link is a product we stock, and if you are unsure, call 256-284-2247 and ask.

The one mistake to avoid: Fisher's coil families are sorted by connector and electronics, not by brand. The F75 and F70 take the coils on this page. The screw-in concentric coils for the F11, F22, and F44 do not fit here, and neither do the Teknetics T2 coils, even though the T2 and F75 come from the same factory. If a coil listing does not name the F75 or F70, it is not your coil.

Search coils for the F75 and F70

Every coil below names the F75 and F70 in its own fitment; some also fit the F19 and the F-series, which is noted where it applies.

Fit note: the search coil is the waterproof part of these machines. The control housing is not rated for submersion, so a creek is a coil-only proposition.

Audio for the F75 and F70

Fisher's own manuals list wired stereo headphones at the top of the accessory page, and the reason is simple: faint, deep targets die in a detector speaker.

Pinpointers

Fisher and Teknetics are one family, so both pulse-induction pinpointers belong here:

  • Fisher F-Pulse: pulse induction that stays quiet on wet salt sand and black-sand gold ground.
  • Teknetics Tek-Point: the same pulse-induction stability, with a frequency shift so it does not squeal next to your coil.

Digging and recovery

Digging gear is not brand-specific; these are the tools we match to relic and field hunters:

Don't own the machine yet?

The Fisher F75 is the standard, the F75+ adds Boost mode, and the F75 Special Edition LTD is the black edition of the same platform. The Fisher F70 is the simpler machine on the same coil system. Its Teknetics twin, the T2, has its own fitment page, and the rest of the Fisher line is covered on the F19 and Gold Bug and F11, F22, and F44 pages.

Not sure what fits your setup?

Call us at 256-284-2247. We have run Fisher machines on our own permissions for years, and matching a coil to your F75 is a two-minute conversation. The story is more important than the artifact.
