Description
The Gold Cube's one demand is classified material, and hand-classifying is the tax you pay for it: Gold Cube's own math says pre-screening 1,000 lb of material, about 15 buckets, can cost two hours of serious shoveling. The Gold Cube Trommel deletes that step. It is shovel ready: feed raw material into the hopper and the rotating barrel classifies it continuously while you keep digging. As Gold Cube puts it, if you can get the small, you can get it all - and this is the machine that gets you to the small gold without wearing out your back first.
What Next Generation means
On the new trommel, Gold Cube moved the spray bar to the outside of the barrel. That is not a cosmetic change: with no plumbing inside, there is more working area inside the barrel, so more material moves through per pass. You can see it in the photo - the white PVC spray manifold rides along the outside of the drum.

Why classifying decides your day
The Gold Cube runs best on material classified to about 1/8 in (3 mm). If you are feeding it concentrates from a dredge or sluice, you are already there. But if the Cube is your primary machine, somebody has to get raw ground down to Cube size - and that somebody used to be you, a #8 screen, and a line of buckets. The trommel does that job continuously while you shovel, which is the difference between processing what you can screen and processing what you can dig. There are thousands of old tailings piles out there still holding small gold because earlier miners chased the big stuff; this is the machine built to eat them.
