The short answer: the Gold Cube is a system, and every piece has one job. The 3 Stack and 4 Stack Deluxe kits are the fine-gold concentrator; the Gold Banker, sold alone or in the kit, turns the Cube into a shovel-ready high banker; the Nugget Zone catches the big gold the Banker's punch plate or the Trommel can pass, and Gold Cube calls it the companion to both; the Trommel classifies raw ground continuously so you never hand-screen again; the Golden Rule packs size your concentrates for cleanup; and the Banjo Pan and The Pick work on their own. Everything on this page is a genuine Gold Cube product we carry, and if you are unsure how the pieces fit, call 256-284-2247 and ask.

The one mistake to avoid: the Nugget Zone is an attachment, not a machine. It mounts on the Gold Cube stand system as the companion to the Gold Banker or the Trommel, and it does nothing on its own: the Gold Cube and the Gold Banker are separate purchases. If you want the whole high-banking system in one order, that is the Ultimate Banker Setup Kit. The other trap is feed size: the Cube runs best on material classified to about 1/8 in / 3 mm, so raw ground goes through the Banker's punch plate or the Trommel first, never straight into the trays.

The concentrator: 3 Stack or 4 Stack

Both kits share the same tray width and the same patented G-Force separator trays, both process up to 1,000 lb / 450 kg of 1/8 in / 3 mm classified material an hour, and both ship complete with the 12 volt 1100 GPH pump, wiring harness, adjustable stand, and hose. The difference is dwell time: the 4 Stack adds a fourth tray for the finest flour gold, and the 3 Stack is modular, so a fourth tray can be added later in under two minutes.

Turning the Cube into a high banker

  • Gold Cube Ultimate Banker Setup Kit: the 4 Stack Deluxe, the stainless steel Gold Banker, and the Nugget Zone in one order, the exact combination Gold Cube designed to work together. The Banker mounts on the Cube's stand with its included adapters; its removable 3/16 in / 5 mm punch plate classifies as you shovel and its slick plate and three nugget traps grab the first easy gold.
  • Gold Cube Nugget Zone, attachment only: the collapsible capture zone for the gold that is larger than a punch-plate hole. It mounts on its own stand attachment and runs its own 12 volt 1100 GPH pump, included, so the Cube's fine-gold flow stays tuned for fine gold while the zone's flow is set for the big stuff. Gold Cube calls it the perfect companion to the Gold Banker and the Trommel.
  • Gold Cube Gold Banker, stainless steel, sold alone: for the owner who already has a Cube. The Banker tray with its removable 3/16 in / 5 mm punch plate, slick plate with three nugget traps, spray bar, and the stand adapters that fit the standard Gold Cube stand. The Gold Cube is not included.

Classifying before the Cube

  • Gold Cube Trommel, Next Generation: shovel raw material into the hopper and the rotating barrel classifies it continuously while you keep digging. Continuous-duty 12 volt motor, designed to run off the same battery setup as your Cube; the new external spray bar leaves more working area inside the barrel. Gold Cube calls the Nugget Zone the trommel's companion for the same reason it partners the Banker: both pass the big gold, and the zone catches it.

Sizing the concentrates for cleanup

Gold is heavier than everything else in your pan, but only when the material around it is all the same size. That is the Golden Rule, Mike Pung's term: when everything's the same, gold rules. The two packs share the identical ring and jars and differ only in the screen count.

Panning and digging

  • Gold Cube Banjo Pan: a pan and a sluice in one piece, with a removable vortex collection mat in the built-in channel, so you keep feeding material without stopping to clean out. Works on its own; no Cube required.
  • The Pick, Gold Cube prospecting pick: the 12x6 in / 30x15 cm AR400 steel head on a 36 in / 91 cm hickory handle, with a rare-earth magnet in the handle, for hardpan, roots, and bedrock.
  • Gold Cube The Pick Sidewinder: the compact curved-blade pick for crevices, bedrock cracks, and caliche, with the same handle magnet.

Which pieces do I actually need?

Running concentrates from a dredge or sluice: a 3 Stack or 4 Stack and a Golden Rule pack, nothing else. Digging raw ground with the Cube as your primary machine: add the Gold Banker (the Ultimate Banker kit is the one-order route) or the Trommel to do the classifying, and the Nugget Zone if your ground carries gold bigger than a punch-plate hole. Everything else on this page works with or without a Cube. Gold gear is exactly the purchase to call about first: 256-284-2247.
