A base EuroTek with a damaged coil is a parked detector, and this is the part that puts it back in the field. The plug-in EuroTek coils barely get stocked anywhere, which strands owners of a perfectly good machine. We carry the 8 in / 20 cm plug-in head, documented properly: what it fits, what it will never fit, and where it shines.

Check the plug before you order
The warning you will find repeated about this part is that it will not function on the EuroTek Pro. Correct, and the rule runs both ways: no screw-in coil functions on the base EuroTek either, so match the plug, never the model name. This coil fits the Teknetics EuroTek, and First Texas also prints the older plug-in Alpha-B, Delta-B, Liberator and Titanium, none of which we stock. Pull your current coil cable and look: a push-in plug means order this part with confidence, a threaded twist-lock collar means you need the screw-in line.
Why this coil: the size that does the whole job
On a machine that mostly hunts with one coil, 8 in / 20 cm is the size to own. It reaches deeper and sweeps a wider path than the 5 in / 13 cm plug-in coil while staying light on the shaft for long sessions, and it stays manageable in the moderate trash of parks and yards where the EuroTek lives. That balance is the argument: enough depth for the lawn, enough control for the scattered junk, no penalty carried for either. When a site turns dense with iron and pull tabs, that is the day for the 5 in / 13 cm plug-in coil (part 5COIL-TEKB); on every other day this head goes back on the shaft. It is also plain insurance: a spare coil is the one part that keeps a one-coil detector alive.

My detector says EuroTek. Is this my coil? If it is the base EuroTek with the push-in plug, yes. If it is the EuroTek Pro, no: the Pro is a screw-in machine and takes part 8COIL-7TEK. The shared name causes the mix-up; the connector settles it.
Which plug-in coil should I own first? This one. The 8 in / 20 cm handles the widest range of ordinary sites, and the 5 in / 13 cm plug-in coil joins the bag later for trash-heavy ground and tight spots.
