Description
Teknetics EuroTek Pro: Built for Ground Full of Iron
The EuroTek Pro was engineered to a European design brief: sites hunted for centuries, littered with iron, where the good target is always six inches from a nail. That is exactly what old American homesites look like too. Its whole feature set aims at one job, telling iron from treasure fast: FeTone iron audio you can turn down without turning off, a variable breakpoint that puts the low tone exactly where you want it, 0 to 39 variable iron discrimination, and an iron identifier LED that flags ferrous trash at a glance.
Why the EuroTek Pro, and which package
Fair warning drawn from this week's market check: two of the biggest detector dealers in the country are currently out of stock on this machine. We stock it, in both factory configurations, as part of carrying the full Teknetics line. The base package is the detector with its 11 in (28 cm) waterproof DD coil, big sweep and real depth at a starter price. The factory GWP package adds the Tek-Point waterproof pinpointer and an 11 in coil cover, the two accessories every new detectorist buys within a month anyway, for $60 more.
The numbers on the screen make sense from day one: a large 1 to 99 target ID where 1 to 39 means ferrous and 40 to 99 means dig-worthy, a 5-segment depth indicator, and 3-tone audio your ears learn in an afternoon. At 2 lb 10 oz (1.19 kg) with the big coil mounted, it is one of the lightest full-size detectors sold.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the EuroTek Pro different from other starter detectors?
Its iron handling. FeTone iron audio, V-Break tone control, 0 to 39 variable iron discrimination, and an iron LED were designed for iron-saturated European sites, which makes it unusually capable on old American homesites at this price.
What is in the Tek-Point package?
The factory GWP configuration adds the Teknetics Tek-Point waterproof pinpointer and an 11 in coil cover to the standard detector, the two most-bought first accessories, in one box.
What do the target ID numbers mean?
1 to 39 reads ferrous (iron), 40 to 99 reads non-ferrous. Combined with the 3 tones, you learn to call targets fast.
Is the EuroTek Pro waterproof?
The 11 in (28 cm) DD coil is waterproof; the control housing is weather-resistant, not submersible.
EuroTek or EuroTek Pro?
The Pro adds the larger DD coil, FeTone, V-Break, the iron LED, and 3-tone audio over the base EuroTek's 8 in coil and 2-tone setup. In iron or for more depth, the Pro is worth the step.
