Why this kit

This kit exists because a diver called us after losing his dive parts and had to hunt down four separate part numbers just to get back in the water. No dealer sells the Deus II dive setup as one package, so we built it. The Deus II remote and coil are rated to 66 ft / 20 m, but diving one takes the small parts that get lost between dive days: the aerial antenna that carries the signal from a submerged coil, the red plug that seals the remote past 3 ft / 1 m, and audio you can hear underwater, which is what the BH-01 does through your cheekbones; XP has never included the BH-01 with any Deus II package. The backups are the point: the antenna clip and the red plug each ride in this kit TWICE, once inside the wave guide packet and once as standalone spares, because those are the two parts that vanish into sand and truck consoles. One order, dive-ready, with the spares already in your pouch. A dive trip costs real money in travel, boat time and days off; a lost $3.90 part should never be what cuts it short, and with the spares in this kit it never is.

Is this everything I need to dive my Deus II?

Yes. Your Deus II plus this kit is a complete dive setup: the wave guide antenna carries the signal from the submerged coil, the red plug seals the remote to 66 ft / 20 m, and the BH-01 headphones give you audio underwater. The spares are the trip insurance, so a plug or clip dropped on day one does not end the week. Bring your own wetsuit and scoop.

Are the BH-01 headphones included with the Deus II detector?

No. XP has never included the BH-01 with any Deus II package; it is the optional bone conduction headphone rated IP68 to 66 ft / 20 m, and it is the underwater audio option because the wireless WS6 and WSA headphones are not dive gear.

What antenna length is in this kit?

25.6 in / 65 cm, the short cable for a remote mounted on the stem. If you run your remote on a harness or hip mount, the 45.3 in / 115 cm and 98.4 in / 250 cm wave guide kits are listed separately.

What if I only need one piece?

Every component is also sold individually at History Seekers: the wave guide kit, red 20 m plug, antenna clip and gray 1 m cap each have their own listing.
