What Fits the Garrett Axiom: Z-Lynk Audio, Pinpointers & Gold Gear
The short answer: the Garrett Axiom has Z-Lynk wireless built in, so the MS-3 and CS-3 headphones and the Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk pair with it directly, with no transmitter to add. The Axiom Standard Package ships with the MS-3 in the box; the Axiom Lite ships without headphones. The one mistake to avoid: the Axiom's Iron Check works with Double-D coils only. Garrett's manual states it will not work with mono coils and pressing it on a mono coil triggers a warning. The Axiom Lite ships with the 11x7 in / 28x18 cm mono coil alone, so Iron Check is not available out of the box on the Lite until a DD coil is fitted. The other trap is the control box: the coil and stem are waterproof, the box is rainproof, not submersible.

The Axiom Standard Package ships with the 13 in / 33 cm Double-D and the 11 in / 28 cm mono; the International Package ships with the 13 in / 33 cm mono and the 11 in / 28 cm Double-D; the Lite ships with the 11x7 in / 28x18 cm mono. Garrett's accessory coils for the Axiom are not on our shelves yet; we are an authorized Garrett dealer and can order them, and for a Lite owner the Double-D is the natural first accessory because it unlocks Iron Check. Wireless audio for the Axiom
Z-Lynk is built into the Axiom. Garrett's link runs at a 17 millisecond delay, six times faster than Bluetooth by Garrett's measurement, so the beep still lands while your coil is over the target.
