Description

If you found this page through Adventure Archaeology, you already know what Brandon can do with a detector and a shovel. This is the machine from the videos, packed the way he and History Seekers actually take it to the field, and a portion of every purchase goes back to support the channel that keeps those hunts free to watch.

Built by Two Detectorists, Not a Warehouse

History Seekers built this package with Brandon Nicholas of Adventure Archaeology. It is not a detector in a box with an upsell list; it is the complete find-and-recover loadout: the Garrett Vortex VX9 with Z-Lynk wireless built in, MS-3 Z-Lynk headphones that pair without a single cable, a Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk that snaps into the same wireless audio, and the pouch, digger, and gloves the recovery actually requires. One order. Nothing missing. Hunting the day the box arrives.

Why the VX9

The VX9 is the top machine in Garrett's Vortex series. It runs simultaneous multi-frequency (Multi and a dedicated Multi-Salt for wet sand), plus five single frequencies from 5 to 25 kHz when conditions call for one. Seven search modes cover the ground this pack was built for: Standard and USA Coins for parks and yards, Thin Coins for hammered silver and small early coppers, Fast for trashy competition ground, Beach for the salt, and a Custom slot for your own settings. The 3-tier target ID puts iron on its own scales, above and below the non-ferrous band, so flat and tricky iron declares itself before you dig. And the whole detector submerges to 16 ft (5 m): creeks, surf line, and rain do not end the hunt.

From the Field with Adventure Archaeology

Watch Brandon Nicholas of Adventure Archaeology work a lost plantation home site. This is the kind of ground, and the kind of day, this Pro Pack is built for.

Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in the Adventure Archaeology VX9 Pro Pack?

The Garrett Vortex VX9 detector (PN 1143060) with its 8.5 x 11 in DD Raider search coil, MS-3 Z-Lynk wireless headphones, a Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk pinpointer, the Garrett All Terrain dig pouch, the Garrett Edge digger, Garrett detecting gloves in your chosen size, and an Adventure Archaeology decal. It ships prepacked as one complete set.

How does this package support Adventure Archaeology?

The pack was curated with Brandon Nicholas of Adventure Archaeology, and a portion of every purchase goes to support his channel and its free videos on historic artifacts and antique bottles. The decal is mailed to you personally by Brandon.

Is the Garrett VX9 waterproof?

Yes. The Vortex VX9 is submersible to 16 ft (5 m) per Garrett, with a dedicated Multi-Salt frequency mode and a Beach search mode for wet sand and surf. The MS-3 headphones are wireless for land use; submerged hunting requires wired waterproof headphones.

Why are the MS-3 headphones and Z-Lynk pinpointer a big deal together?

The VX9 has Garrett's Z-Lynk wireless built in. The included MS-3 headphones and Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk both connect to it cable-free, so detector audio and pinpointer audio arrive in the same headphones with no wires to snag. Most retailers sell these pieces separately.

How does the decal arrive, and when?

Brandon mails the Adventure Archaeology decal personally to the shipping address on your order, separately from the equipment box. The detector package ships from History Seekers.
