When the site is a wide-open field and the targets you are after are the deep ones the crowd has walked over, the stock coil leaves finds in the ground. The SC35 is the coil that reaches them and clears the ground faster while it does. It does not come in any Score box, which is exactly why it is worth adding: it is the reach the stock coil does not have.
The SC35 is the largest coil in the Score lineup at 13.5 in x 12.5 in / 35 x 31.5 cm, and that size is the whole purpose: the big loop pushes the detector's field deeper than the 12 in x 9 in coil and sweeps the widest path, so you cover open ground in fewer passes and reach targets a smaller coil never saw. It is the coil for pastures, plowed fields, beaches, and old sites that have been hunted hard near the surface but still hold depth.
Why the SC35, and which Score it is for
Think of the three Score coils as a set. The SC24 9.5 in x 6 in / 24 x 15 cm is the trash and tight-ground coil and the SC30 12 in x 9 in / 30 x 23 cm is the all-rounder; the SC35 is the one you add when depth and ground coverage matter more than anything else. It is the only Score coil that never ships in a box, so it is always a deliberate upgrade. Worth stating plainly, because some listings only mention the Score and Double Score: the SC35 fits the whole current Score line, the Score 3 / Triple Score included. Accept that a coil this size is a specialist tool, not the one you thread through nail beds, and it will find what the stock coil left behind on the right open site.
It is a Double-D (DD) coil, which keeps target ID stable and ground handling clean even at this size. It is fully waterproof; the coil does not set the depth limit, the detector does, and the Score line is IP68 rated and submersible to 16 ft / 5 m, so even this big coil is a genuine option for the wet stretches of a beach hunt.
Compatibility, stated straight: the SC35 is matched to the current Nokta Score line, so it fits the Score, the Score 2 (Double Score), and the Score 3 (Triple Score).
