The Nokta Triple Score (Score 3) Pro Pack is the top of Nokta's Score line: a fully waterproof, simultaneous multi-frequency metal detector that comes with two search coils and wireless audio in the box. If you have been priced out of waterproof multi-frequency detecting, this is the machine that answers it. IP68 rated and submersible to 16 ft (5 m) - the whole detector, not just the coil - it runs four modes including a dedicated Relic mode, on the same Simultaneous Multi-Frequency (SMF) core that powers detectors costing far more.
Why the Triple Score over the Score and Double Score
The Score line is one platform in three tiers. The Triple Score is the one built for the hunter who wants it all: it adds the fourth Relic mode, four frequency choices (4, 15, and 20 kHz plus Multi) instead of two, the full sensitivity range (1 to 15), and every fine-tuning control - recovery speed (1 to 5), three custom user profiles, tone options (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 60, P), iron volume (0 to 10), threshold, tone break, and bottle cap rejection. It is also the only tier that ships as a Pro Pack: a second waterproof search coil and Bluetooth headphones included, not sold separately.
Simultaneous Multi-Frequency, and two search coils for two jobs
SMF transmits several frequencies at once, so target IDs stay honest as ground mineralization changes - from dry parks to wet salt beaches. The Pro Pack pairs the SC30 12 in x 9 in (30 x 23 cm) Double-D coil for coverage and depth with the SC24 9.5 in x 6 in (24 x 15 cm) Double-D coil for separation in trash and tight sites. Both coils share the connector, so swapping in the field takes seconds, and they interchange across the whole Score family.

Does the Nokta Triple Score detect gold?
Gold jewelry, readily - rings and chains in parks and on beaches are exactly what Multi-Frequency does well, wet sand included. What the Score line does not carry is a dedicated gold prospecting mode, so sub-gram natural nuggets in hot goldfield soil are outside its lane. Within Nokta's range, the Legend 2 adds a true Gold mode, and the Magnetar 9000 is the dedicated deep-gold machine.
The software keeps improving after you buy it
The Triple Score is field-updatable over USB, and Nokta has already shipped free updates. The latest (V1.2) sharpened Pinpoint and Beach mode and, on the Double and Triple Score, added Deep Target Identification (dt) - a feature that lets deep non-ferrous targets which normally read as iron register correctly. It is a real "gets better over time" story, at no cost.
