Description
The Vanquish 560 Pro-Pack is the flagship of Minelab's fully submersible Vanquish 60 Series - two coils, wireless earbuds, Multi-IQ, and not a single keep-it-dry caveat. This factory bundle, Minelab's Vanquish 560 Pro-Pack Essentials Bundle (part 3820-1006), adds the Minelab backpack that carries the collapsed detector and both coils as one kit.
At a glance
This factory Minelab bundle (part 3820-1006) is the organized Vanquish flagship kit: the 560 Pro-Pack with two waterproof coils (V12X 12x9 in / 30x23 cm and V8X 8x5 in / 20x13 cm) and ML60 wireless earbuds, plus the Minelab detecting backpack. Multi-IQ, fully IP68 submersible to 16 ft (5 m), 3-year Minelab warranty. Best for coins, relics, jewelry, parks, fields, beaches and shallow water; beginner through intermediate.
History Seekers Metal Detectors is an authorized Minelab dealer; every Vanquish 560 Pro-Pack Essentials Bundle we sell is new, sourced through Minelab's authorized US distributor, and carries the full 3-year Minelab warranty.
Why the 560 Pro-Pack is the flagship pick
Three things separate the 560 Pro-Pack from every budget detector page you will read. First, the coils: the V12X covers open ground with depth while the V8X threads trashy, iron-heavy corners - the Pro-Pack is the only Vanquish configuration Minelab ships with the pair. Second, the audio: where the base 560 comes with wired headphones, the Pro-Pack upgrades to ML60 wireless earbuds running Bluetooth LE Audio with the LC3 codec - clear target audio with no cable to snag on the swing. Third, the caveat that is not there: older Vanquish models were waterproof-coil-only, and much of the internet still says so. The 560 is the 60 Series - the ENTIRE detector, control box included, is IP68 submersible to 16 ft (5 m) per Minelab's published specs. Factory-packed under one part number with manufacturer-set pricing, backpack included.
One more thing the dealer pages skip: the Vanquish 60 Series also accepts the Minelab Equinox EQX06, EQX11 and EQX15 coils (Minelab's Vanquish 460/560 manual), so an Equinox owner's coils cross over to this kit and the V-series coils interchange across the whole Vanquish family. Everything that fits is on our Vanquish 460 and 560 accessories page.
Technical specs and what they do in the field
| Multi-IQ simultaneous multi-frequency | Equinox-family technology: stable target IDs across dirt, grass, and salt sand. |
| Fully submersible, IP68 to 16 ft (5 m) - control box included | The 60-series upgrade most of the internet has not caught up with: older Vanquish models kept the control box dry; the 560 goes all the way under. |
| TWO coils: V12X 12x9 in (30x23 cm) + V8X 8x5 in (20x13 cm) | Coverage and depth from the V12X; separation in trash from the V8X (Pro-Pack exclusive). |
| ML60 wireless earbuds, Bluetooth LE Audio (Pro-Pack exclusive) | Target audio with no cable to snag - the Pro-Pack's upgrade over the base 560's wired headphones. LE Audio with the LC3 codec only, so the ML60 earbuds are the guaranteed match; a 3.5 mm socket remains for wired headphones. |
| 4 search modes, 30 discrimination segments, 5 target tones, Iron Bias -1 to 2 | Park, Field, Beach and a User Profile; the -1 Iron Bias setting is the 560's aggressive unmasking option in iron-choked ground. |
| 2.8 lb (1.26 kg), internal Li-ion, up to 10 hours, USB-C charged | All-day light, no battery runs to the store. |
| Minelab detecting backpack included | The collapsed detector and both coils, one carry. |
| 3-year Minelab warranty | Detector and coils, backed by an authorized dealer. |

Which 560 Pro-Pack bundle is right for you?
Same price, different tools: this backpack bundle ($599, part 3820-1006) organizes the kit, while its sibling, the Vanquish 560 Pro-Pack Bundle with PRO-FIND 35 and Adventure Pack ($599, part 3820-1007), swaps the backpack for the PRO-FIND 35 pinpointer and the Adventure Pack recovery tools. Pick by what you already own. Just want the machine, coils, and earbuds? The standalone Vanquish 560 Pro-Pack is $499. On a tighter budget, the Vanquish 460 Bundle with Adventure Pack ($399) and the Vanquish 460 Bundle with PRO-FIND 35 and Adventure Pack ($479) put the same fully submersible Multi-IQ platform on the compact V10X coil, with 3 tones instead of 5 and wired headphones instead of earbuds.
Who it is for
Detectorists who want the most capable Vanquish - two coils, wireless audio, fully submersible, Multi-IQ - organized and travel-ready, from the surf line to the airline overhead bin. Honest limits: the wireless is Bluetooth LE Audio with the LC3 codec only, so most older Bluetooth headsets will not pair (the ML60 earbuds in the box are the match, and a wired headset plugs into the 3.5 mm socket); the ML60 earbuds are for land and wading, not submerged hunting; the battery is internal, so there is no field swap and about 10 hours is the day; and the 560 has no gold prospecting mode.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a real Minelab bundle or a dealer kit?
A factory Minelab bundle with its own Minelab part number, 3820-1006, listed by Minelab USA as the Vanquish 560 Pro-Pack Essentials Bundle. Most bundles online are dealer-assembled kits with third-party accessories; this one is packed by Minelab with manufacturer-set pricing, so every component is genuine Minelab under one warranty conversation.
What headphones come with the 560 Pro-Pack?
ML60 wireless earbuds with Bluetooth LE Audio and the LC3 codec. This is a Pro-Pack upgrade: the base Vanquish 560 ships with wired headphones instead, and the Pro-Pack box does not include them. The detector's wireless works only with LE Audio LC3 headphones, so older Bluetooth headsets will not pair; a 3.5 mm socket remains for any wired headphones.
Is the Vanquish 560 fully waterproof?
Yes. The 60-series Vanquish is IP68 rated with the entire detector, control box included, submersible to 16 ft (5 m) per Minelab - the big upgrade over the older 540 generation, whose control boxes were not submersible. The ML60 earbuds are for land and wading; for submerged hunting use the built-in speaker or a wired headset on the 3.5 mm socket.
What is the difference between the 560 Pro-Pack and the standard 560?
The detector is identical. The Pro-Pack adds the smaller V8X 8x5 in coil for trashy, tight sites alongside the standard V12X 12x9 in coil, and it includes ML60 wireless earbuds where the base 560 comes with wired headphones.
Will my Equinox coils fit the Vanquish 560?
Yes. Per Minelab's Vanquish 460/560 manual, the Vanquish 60 Series accepts the Equinox EQX06, EQX11 and EQX15 coils as well as its own V8X, V10X and V12X coils, so an Equinox owner's coils cross over to this kit. Minelab does not state the reverse, so do not count on a V-series coil fitting an Equinox.
Can this Vanquish 560 bundle find gold?
Gold jewelry, readily, with two coils to match the ground: the V8X for picking through trashy parks, the V12X for beach coverage. Like the whole Vanquish family, the 560 runs Park, Field and Beach modes plus a User Profile with no gold prospecting mode, so nugget country calls for the Minelab Equinox 900 and up. With the backpack included, this kit is built for the grab-and-go hunts where most jewelry gets found.
Does this bundle qualify for a military discount?
Yes. Minelab offers a 15% military discount on Minelab detectors (accessories excluded). Contact us directly at 256-284-2247 for details. It cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
Is History Seekers an authorized Minelab dealer?
Yes. History Seekers Metal Detectors is an authorized Minelab dealer; every Vanquish 560 Pro-Pack Essentials Bundle we sell is new, sourced through Minelab's authorized US distributor, and carries the full 3-year Minelab warranty. Your setup questions are answered by detectorists who run Minelab machines on real permissions.
