What Fits the Teknetics T2 Classic and T2 Special Edition: Coils, Audio & Accessories
The short answer: the Teknetics T2 Classic and T2 Special Edition share one coil family of five accessory coils, from the 5 in / 13 cm Double-D to the 15 in / 38 cm deep-search Double-D, plus Teknetics' own wired stereo headphones. Everything on this page fits the T2, every link is a product we stock, and if you are unsure, call 256-284-2247 and ask.
The one mistake to avoid: T2 coils are T2 coils. The screw-in coils for the Teknetics Alpha, Delta, Gamma, Omega, G2+, and EuroTek Pro do not fit the T2, and the Fisher F75 coils do not either, even though the T2 and F75 come from the same factory. If a coil listing does not name the T2, it is not your coil.
Search coils for the T2
All five T2 coils are waterproof Double-D. The T2 Special Edition ships with two of them (the 11 in / 28 cm and the 5 in / 13 cm), so the others below are the coverage and separation steps beyond the box.
