Why this charger
Serious gold detecting is travel: the machine that hunts Arizona in March might be in Western Australia in September. This plug pack is Minelab's answer to charging on the road, one charger body with a snap-on head for whichever country the gold is in, and it covers three machines, so a Gold Monster and a GPX 6000 in the same truck share one charger. It is also simply the factory replacement when the original stays behind in a motel socket, which is how most of these get sold.
