Why the 11 in is the standard, not the upgrade
Every XP X35 coil shares one multi-band engine: 5 main frequencies (4, 8, 12, 18 and 28 kHz), each with 7 offset shifts, 35 frequencies in all from 3.7 to 27.7 kHz. The 28 cm (11 in) turns that engine into reach. Against the 22.5 cm (9 in) X35 you gain real depth and a wider sweep line on every pass; against the 34x28 cm (13x11 in) X35 you keep 120 g (4.2 oz) off the rod end and keep better manners around scattered iron. That middle position is why so many hunters run the 11 in as their only coil: pasture, plowed fields, beaches and parkland all sit inside its comfort zone. One number worth getting right: several dealers list this coil near 400 g. XP's published figure is 470 g (16.6 oz), and that is the figure we print, because a coil you buy on a wrong number is a coil you resent on a long day.

Compatibility, stated plainly
This coil fits the original XP Deus and the XP ORX. It is a factory XP ORX coil as well: XP's ORX 11 in X35 pack ships with this exact coil, and the DEUS Lite 28 package builds around it. It is not compatible with the XP Deus II or Icon: those machines take FMF coils only, like the 11 in FMF. If you need micro-target reach instead of coverage, the XP HF coil pair, the high frequency coil line for these same machines, runs to 54 and 74 kHz.
