What Fits the XP Deus and ORX: X35 and HF Coils, Audio & Accessories
The short answer: the original XP Deus, the Deus Lite, and the ORX run XP's X35 and HF coils, and we stock five of them: the X35 in 9 in / 22.5 cm, 11 in / 28 cm, and 13x11 in / 34x28 cm, the HF 9 in / 22.5 cm round, and the HF elliptical 9.5x5 in / 24x13 cm. Everything on this page fits the Deus and ORX, every link is a product we stock, and if you are unsure, call 256-284-2247 and ask.
The one mistake to avoid: XP's FMF coils belong to the Deus II and the ICON, and they do NOT fit or work on the original Deus or the ORX. The same trap runs in the other direction: X35 and HF coils never fit a Deus II. And the HF2 elliptical is a Deus II coil, not an upgrade of the HF elliptical on this page. If a listing says FMF or HF2, it is not a Deus or ORX coil.
Search coils for the Deus and ORX
All five coils are wireless with their own battery, the way every XP coil has been since the first Deus.
X35 coils
- XP X35 9 in / 22.5 cm: the separation pick for trashy parks and iron-heavy sites; also listed for the Deus Lite.
- XP X35 11 in / 28 cm: the all-rounder for coverage and depth; also listed for the Deus Lite.
- XP X35 13x11 in / 34x28 cm: maximum ground coverage for fields and open beach.
HF coils
- XP HF 9 in / 22.5 cm high-frequency round: the small-target and gold coil in a round footprint.
- XP HF elliptical 9.5x5 in / 24x13 cm high-frequency: the same high-frequency engine in the narrow footprint that works bedrock cracks and tight trash.
Audio for the Deus and ORX
- DetectorPro Gray Ghost XP headphones: the full-cup upgrade that accepts the XP backphone-style module you already own, so your cordless audio drives sound-blocking muffs. Listed for the Deus II and the Deus.
Fit note: XP's current ST-series wireless headphones are Deus II and ICON parts. If you need a replacement wireless headphone for a Deus or ORX, call 256-284-2247 and we will tell you what XP still supplies.

- XP MI-4 pinpointer: XP's waterproof pinpointer, used alongside any machine without pairing.

We do not currently list the original Deus or the ORX as new machines, but we support them with the coils above. When the time comes, XP's current platforms are the Deus II and the ICON and ICON X, and both fitment pages spell out exactly what carries over: the pinpointers and packs do, the coils do not.
