What Fits the Nokta Simplex Ultra and Lite: SX Coils & Accessories
The short answer: the new-generation Nokta Simplex Ultra and Simplex Lite share one coil family: the SX-series (SX24, SX28, SX35), and all three coils fit both machines. Audio differs by model: the Ultra pairs with Nokta's BT Low Latency wireless headphones, while the Lite is wired-only; both take Nokta's wired waterproof headphones for submerged hunting. The one mistake to avoid: this page is for the NEW-GENERATION Simplex (Ultra and Lite). The original Simplex+ was discontinued and used different accessories, and Nokta's 2.4GHz Green Edition wireless headphones are for that older generation, NOT these machines.
Search coils for the Simplex Ultra and Lite
All three SX-series coils are waterproof Double-D and fit both machines:
- Nokta SX24, 9.5x6 in / 24x15 cm: the separation coil for trashy parks; ships standard on the Lite.
- Nokta SX28, 11 in / 28 cm: the all-rounder; ships standard on the Ultra.
- Nokta SX35, 13.5x12.5 in / 34x32 cm: maximum depth and coverage for fields and beach.
Audio for the Simplex Ultra and Lite
- Nokta BT Low Latency headphones: the wireless set for the Simplex ULTRA (the Lite has no Bluetooth); not waterproof.
- Nokta waterproof headphones: the wired solution for submerged hunting on either machine, where wireless cannot follow.
Fit note: the Lite ships with a 6.3 mm wired headphone adapter and is wired-only by design. Wireless audio is one of the reasons to pick the Ultra.
