What Fits the Nokta Legend 2: LD Coils, Audio & Accessories
The short answer: the Nokta Legend 2 takes LD-series search coils only (LD21, LD22, LD28, LD38), pairs with Nokta's BT Low Latency wireless headphones and the Bone Conduction headphones made for it, and takes Nokta's wired waterproof headphones for submerged hunting. Everything on this page fits the Legend 2, every link is a product we stock, and if you are unsure, call 256-284-2247 and ask.
The one mistake to avoid: the original Legend's LG-series coils do NOT fit the Legend 2, and LD coils do not fit the original Legend. Same family name, different coil connections. This page is for the LEGEND 2; original-Legend owners want The Legend page.
Search coils for the Legend 2
All four LD-series coils are waterproof Double-D and ship with covers:
- Nokta LD21, 8x5.5 in / 21x14 cm: the separation coil for iron and tight trash; ships in the factory kit as the second coil.
- Nokta LD22, 9 in / 22 cm: round middle option balancing separation and coverage.
- Nokta LD28, 11 in / 28 cm: the coverage coil the Legend 2 ships with, here as a spare.
- Nokta LD38, 15x12 in / 38x30 cm: maximum depth and coverage for open fields and beach.
Audio for the Legend 2
- Nokta BT Low Latency headphones: the wireless set that pairs with the Legend 2; not waterproof.
- Nokta Bone Conduction headphones: made for the Legend 2, leaving your ears open to the world around you.
- Nokta waterproof headphones: the wired solution for submerged hunting, where wireless cannot follow.
Fit note: the Bone Conduction headphones are a Legend 2 accessory only; Nokta lists them as incompatible with the original Legend.
