What Fits the Nokta Legend: LG Coils, Audio & Accessories
The short answer: the original Nokta Legend takes LG-series search coils only (LG15, LG24, LG28, LG30, LG35), pairs with Nokta's BT Low Latency wireless headphones, and takes Nokta's wired waterproof headphones for submerged hunting. Everything on this page fits The Legend, every link is a product we stock, and if you are unsure, call 256-284-2247 and ask.
The one mistake to avoid: the Legend 2's LD-series coils do NOT fit the original Legend, and LG coils do not fit the Legend 2. Same family name, different coil connections. This page is for the ORIGINAL Legend; Legend 2 owners want the Legend 2 page.
Search coils for The Legend
All five LG-series coils are waterproof Double-D and ship with covers:
- Nokta LG15, 6 in / 15 cm: the separation coil for nail beds and trashy relic sites; ships in the Pro Pack as the second coil.
- Nokta LG24, 9.5x6 in / 24x15 cm: elliptical middle ground between separation and coverage.
- Nokta LG28, 11 in / 28 cm: the round all-rounder.
- Nokta LG30, 12x9 in / 30x23 cm: the standard coverage coil the Legend ships with, here as a spare.
- Nokta LG35, 13.5x12.5 in / 34x32 cm: maximum depth and coverage for open ground.
Audio for The Legend
- Nokta BT Low Latency headphones: the wireless set that pairs with The Legend; not waterproof.
- Nokta waterproof headphones: the wired solution for submerged hunting, where wireless cannot follow.
Fit note: Nokta's Bone Conduction headphones are for the Legend 2 only; Nokta lists them as incompatible with the original Legend.
