The MS-3 Z-Lynk Kit is the complete conversion: MS-3 wireless headphones plus the WT-1 transmitter that clips to virtually any detector with a 1/4 in jack or a 2-pin AT connector - both cables are in the box. Garrett's Z-Lynk link runs at a near-zero 17 millisecond delay, six times faster than Bluetooth by Garrett's measurement, so the beep still lands while your search coil is over the target.

Why the kit instead of the bare MS-3
The bare MS-3 only pairs with detectors that already transmit Z-Lynk (Vortex, AT Max, ACE Apex, Axiom, Axiom Lite). Everything else - an AT Pro, an AT Gold, an ACE 300 or 400, an older favorite you refuse to retire - needs the WT-1 transmitter in this kit. The WT-1 straps to the shaft with the included mounting bands, plugs in with whichever cable your machine takes, and broadcasts to the same 17 ms link.
