Description
The Minelab Vanquish 560 is the flagship of the Vanquish 60 Series, pairing Multi-IQ simultaneous multi-frequency detecting with the larger V12X coil, five target tones, four levels of Iron Bias, and wireless audio. It is the current-generation machine that takes the Vanquish 540's place in the lineup, ships with the V12X 12 in x 9 in (30 x 23 cm) Double-D search coil and wired 3.5 mm headphones, and steps up to the 560 Pro-Pack for a second precision coil and ML60 wireless earbuds.
Why the Vanquish 560
Multi-IQ technology transmits across multiple frequencies at once, so target IDs stay stable as ground mineralization changes. The 560 shares the Vanquish 460's four modes, 30 discrimination segments, 10 sensitivity levels, and wireless audio, then steps up in three ways that matter in tough ground: the deeper V12X coil, five target tones instead of three, and Iron Bias that reaches −1 for aggressive unmasking where iron trash is thick. A red-backlit display with built-in flashlight and handgrip vibration keep you hunting in low light and noisy surf. The whole detector is IP68 waterproof to 16 ft (5 m), and its software updates over the USB-C cable.

Your Equinox coils cross over
Here is a detail most buyers miss: the Vanquish 60 Series accepts the Minelab Equinox EQX06, EQX11, and EQX15 coils as well as its own V-series coils. If you already own an Equinox, this makes a superb waterproof backup, and your existing coils come with you. It also means the V8X, V10X, and V12X coils interchange across the whole Vanquish family, so a household running more than one Minelab, whether it is a spouse, a kid learning the hobby, or your own second machine, shares one set of coils instead of buying doubles.
The V12X search coil
The V12X 12 in x 9 in (30 x 23 cm) Double-D search coil increases ground coverage and depth while holding solid target separation. The Double-D design handles mineralized ground efficiently and keeps IDs steady in iron-heavy soil, making it a strong choice for open parks, fields, and beaches.

Who you are buying from
History Seekers is a small American business and a working detecting channel: over 1.1 million people follow our hunts on Facebook and YouTube. Everyone here detects, from the top down: gold, relics, coins, jewelry, even float copper. We hunt with the gear we sell, and the person who answers your call has real dirt time. Every purchase keeps everyday Americans working.
The story is more important than the artifact.
