Why this bundle and not one of the other five
Of the six DEUS II WSA-series configurations we carry, this is the specialist. The 9 in (22.5 cm) coil is the lightest of the three FMF sizes and the surgeon in iron: tighter target separation, easier pinpointing, and it threads roots, rubble and foundation stones a bigger coil bridges right over. If your ground is open pasture or beach, the 11 in (28 cm) bundle or 13x11 in (34x28 cm) bundle buys more depth and coverage per sweep. On audio, the over-ear WSA XL ST seals out wind and road noise, the right match for a coil you chose specifically to hear small things next to iron; the same coil with the featherweight WSA ST instead is our live 9 in WSA ST bundle. Multi-Process: two detectors in your ears
Since firmware V4.0 the DEUS II can run two audio channels at once: a low-reactivity channel listening deep and a high-reactivity channel snapping at small targets near ferrous, in the same sweep. XP calls it Multi-Process, with Audio Morphing, Chorus FX and presets including DUAL AXIS, and it is exclusive to ST-generation headphones like the WSA XL ST. On a trashy homesite, that is not a gimmick; it is the point of this configuration.

Waterproof, stated honestly
Coil and remote control are IP68 rated to 20 m (66 ft), with an optional antenna required when the coil is fully submerged. The WSA XL ST headphones are rated to 1 m (3.3 ft): rain and surf spray are fine, diving is not. Divers pair the detector with XP's wired BH-01 bone conduction headphones, rated to the same 20 m (66 ft). We draw that line before checkout, not after.
Who it is for
Relic hunters working colonial and Civil War era homesites, coin shooters in hammered parks and curb strips, and anyone whose best permission is more nails than dirt. It is also the right first DEUS II for hunters who value hearing everything over covering everything.
