What is in the Adventure Pack
Four factory-boxed XP products, sanctioned by XP's US distribution as one pack: the XP ICON X (remote, ICON28 coil, S-Telescopic Lite Carbon stem), the WSA XL ST headphones at 250 g (8.8 oz), the MI-6 pinpointer, and the XP Backpack 240. Priced at the sum of its parts: you pay for the gear, the completeness comes free.
Why the X kit and not the base kit
Against the XP ICON Adventure Pack, the X buys you the deltas that show up in the finds pouch: a 28 kHz single frequency for thin hammered coins, fine jewelry and small nonferrous targets; six factory programs, Field, Trashy Field, Forest, Park, Wet Beach and Beach & Surf, each with a user slot, against three; seven reactivity levels against five; ferrous ID in 0.5-point steps against 1-point; six audio types including the enhanced curve that lifts faint, distant targets, heard best through exactly the closed over-ear cups this pack includes; and a carbon-mid stem about 25 g lighter. Against the two-item XP ICON X bundle, this pack adds the recovery layer: the MI-6 pinpointer pairs with the ICON X remote, and if it goes missing in the weeds the remote rings and flashes it from up to 82 ft (25 m) away, even switched off, even weeks later. XP's on-ear WSA ST headphones suit minimalists; a complete kit deserves the comfortable ones.

Waterproof, stated precisely
The ICON X carries an IP68 rating, waterproof 5 m / 16 ft, and the 5 m ceiling is genuine with conditions XP prints and most listings omit. Standard cap fitted: 5 ft (1.5 m) for up to 30 minutes, which covers rain, creeks and surf wading as shipped. Deeper work requires the BH-02 bone conduction headphones, whose waterproof connector replaces the cap, plus the waveguide for the radio link; with both, the ICON X runs as a true underwater metal detector to 16 ft (5 m). The WSA XL ST headphones in this pack stay on dry land.
Who it is for
Buyers who want the deepest XP ICON bundle we sell, a fully wireless metal detector bundle with the recovery gear already in the box, jewelry and beach hunters who will lean on the 28 kHz single, and anyone who hates ordering twice. Gold, stated plainly: the ICON X is the more gold-capable ICON, but no factory program here is a dedicated gold program. Real prospecting is the XP DEUS II Gold package and XP gold pans; an XP DEUS 2 bundle is the flagship step beyond this pack.
