What Fits the Minelab X-Terra Pro and Elite: Coils, Audio & Accessories
The short answer: the Minelab X-Terra Pro and X-Terra Elite share one accessory ecosystem, and it is bigger than most owners realize. They take Minelab's V-series coils (V8X, V10X, V12X), Minelab's EQX coils (EQX 06, EQX 11, EQX 15), and Coiltek's NOX line, and they pair with the ML 85 and ML 105 wireless headphones and the WM 09 module. Everything on this page fits both machines, every link is a product we stock, and if you are unsure, call 256-284-2247 and ask.
Two mistakes to avoid: first, the classic X-Terra 305/505/705 used a completely different coil system; nothing on this page fits those older machines. Second, the fit is one-way with the Equinox: EQX coils work on your X-Terra, but V-series coils do NOT work on any Equinox.
Search coils for the X-Terra Pro and Elite
The native V-series, all waterproof Double-D:
- Minelab V8X, 8x5 in / 20x13 cm: the small coil for trashy, tight sites.
- Minelab V10X, 10x7 in / 25x18 cm: the balanced middle option.
- Minelab V12X, 12x9 in / 30x23 cm: the full-size coverage coil.
Both machines also accept the Equinox-series coils, which opens up the larger sizes:
- Minelab EQX 06, 6 in / 15 cm: the tightest separation coil in the ecosystem.
- Minelab EQX 11, 11 in / 28 cm: the classic all-rounder.
- Minelab EQX 15, 15x12 in / 38x30 cm: depth and coverage for open ground.
And Coiltek's NOX line is built for this platform too:
- Coiltek NOX 10x5 in / 25x13 cm: elliptical iron-site specialist.
- Coiltek NOX 14x9 in / 36x23 cm: swingable coverage upgrade.
- Coiltek NOX 15 in / 38 cm: big round coil for depth.
- Coiltek NOX 18 in / 46 cm: maximum reach in the lineup.

- CKG carbon fiber detecting shovel: serrated blade for fields and relics.
- CKG Universal 12x5 lightweight sand scoop: the beach recovery starter.
- CKG Pro 11x9 stainless sand scoop: the wet-sand workhorse.
